Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I had the honor of working for George Jones in the 1980s at NorthPark National Bank. Although I was fresh out of college and learning the ropes in HR he never made me feel inadequate in any way. George was a strong yet gentle leader who made everyone feel special. If you ask any former NPNB employee they will say the best years were when George was President. Rest In Peace sir.

I worked at Texas American Bank for 13 years had nothing but respect for George , he was respectable and the financial banks have lost an asset and leader , thoughts to the family .

I had the opportunity to work at Texas American Bank for 13 years and had nothing but respect for George , he was amazing . A loss for the financial business but he did so much for it and will not be forgotten . Kandi Green Morrison

I worked for George at CFB for a couple of years as a mobile banker and although my position was of no high status he always treated me as if I was just as important as a Partner or Board Member. George was thoughtful and kind and not what you would expect from such a true banking legend. I feel privileged to have known George and to have called him my friend. My heart and prayers go out to George and his surviving family members.

The best times at TCB was when George Jones was President.

In 1986, George gave me my first banking job at NorthPark Bank as a credit analyst. I was not as qualified as the other candidates and came from a much smaller school, but George saw something in me and gave me a chance. I will always be grateful to “Mr. Jones” for his willingness to take a chance on a young kid from Commerce, Texas. Kevin Bryant
