Not sure what to say?

I met Mr Kates in CYA. He taught a college class at the facility through Ventura Community College. Although I can´t remember to save my life what the class was supposed to be about because he lectured many different topics on whatever he felt like discussing that day; I can say that the knowledge, information, and wisdom he shared was nothing like anything I´ve ever heard before and since then I haven´t came across many who compare. I was on his caseload in the California youth authority. He shared many stories with me about his life. He was a great man, whom I had the pleasure to meet. He was super inteligent and understanding. Never judged....just helped. Helped you better yourself. His conversations are something I missed when I earned my freedom back. He was a great person with a good heart. Thank you for all the advice and help Mr Kates. Thank you for everything you did for me.

If this was the same George that served with me in South Korea during the Vietnam War Era as a combat medic, he's one of the nicest guys you would ever have the pleasure to meet.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

George may our God bless you always for your great deeds while on earth! You were a blessing to Vikki in countless ways. Together in love, our God made your love, strength and endurance possible! Now you are reunited with your beloved parents, sister and your beautiful wife! Praise God for all the great and amazing things He allowed you to do! Rest in Peace my brother in Christ, job well done!
