I enjoyed talking about radio stuff with Bob, learned a lot from him. And his scanner books were excellent, he devoted time to make sure they were as accurate as can be. Bob had the knack to organize the information of input freq and tones which we have read even public safety officers carried his books. Also give Bob a call on the Red Carpet repeater system. I remember when he described how his interest in radios began from another icon Art McDole, as a young lad he saw Art had TWO 2-way...
