Dad & Menard "Easter 1974"

Dad,
I wish heaven had a mail box,
If that wish could come true
I would post a Happy Easter card
and send it off to you.
I would wish you a Happy Easter
In heaven up above,
I would send you hugs and kisses
In words written in love.

Gates of memories
will never close...
How much I miss you
no one knows.
Days will pass away
into years....
And we'll think about
those memories with
Silent tears.

Love & Miss you Dad
Cindy

Missing the good times

Father's Day 2016
DAD
I don't know why,
but I just thought you'd
always be around, and knowing
you're not here for me, feels
really strange I've found
For even though I'm grown up
with a family of my own, there's
a child inside me that feels lost
& so alone.
You see since you've been gone,
there's something life just seems
to lack, for nothing is the same now
& I wish you would come back.
And now that Father's Day is here
I'm feeling very sad...

everywhere I go.
I wish that you were here with me
but that can never be,
Memories of you in my heart,
that only I can see.
My Angel up in heaven,
I hope you understand,
That I would give anything,
if I could hold your hand,
I'd hold you oh so tightly,
and never let you go,
And all the love inside of me,
to...

Dear Dad,
If I could have a wish come true,
A dream that'd come to pass
I'd ask to spend the day with you,
And pray that it would last.

I'd run to you & hold you close,
We'd laugh and smile again,
I'd listen so intently
As you told me how you've been.

When time was up I'd hold you close
Not wanting to let go
You'd smile & tell me "See you soon"
And somehow I would know

That while it's very hard to wait,
One day the...
