Not sure what to say?

To the Family of George R. Knowles:

I've been a neighbor and friend to George the entire time I've lived in Greenfield Gardens (6 years). I have to say it was truly a pleasure knowing George. Our conversations where always colorful, shoveling snow in the winter, watching him garden in the summer, having group gatherings with other neighbors, it will all be missed. Although I know that he is in a better place, suffering no more, it still hurts to not have him here. Greenfield...

George, thanks for befriending a goofy neighborhood kid four years younger than you. I learned so much from you: astronomy, photography, history, model making, music, aviation and much more.

During the mid 60's, I enjoyed our "Ventures" band in my carport, our trip to PEI to film the solar eclipse in 1972. The letters from you, while you served in the Air Force and I was in the Navy, were so well written, informative and very much appreciated.

Dearest George,
I've known you most of my life and the pleasure was mine. Will miss you at all the holidays and backyard picnics that you always enjoyed coming to. I just know that an angel was there to welcome you to a better place.

George, your strugles are finally over. The good times are ahead. You will be remembered well by all that have known you, both family and friends. Goodby from your friend Al.

From one veteran to another, thank-you and God Bless.

Stella and Joe send our love and prayers to the family of our cousin "Brother George". I remember the little boy who visited us and the historian who gathered us together at our family reunion.
I marveled at his writing ability and his willingness to reach out in healing even in the last hours of his life.
May God Bless him and accept our prayers for his eternal peace.

"Brother" Joe Mancusi

To my Uncle George. Thank you for many years of love, laughter, and memories. May you rest in peace and know that you are remembered with love.

Dear Brother-in-Law we love you & remember all the good times we used to have camping & at all the family reunions & get togethers.

To my big brother....May you finally be at peace. I love you and miss you. Bill
