George Lamont

We are saddened to hear of the passing of George. Our relationship through the Sheriff's Office and flying were special. I will always remember flying to San Francisco with George and Beckey for a weekend retreat. George took me flying in his T-34 because I wanted to go up side down. I was not right for several days after that flight. George was a valued member of the Sheriff's Mounted Posse during my time as Sheriff. It was an honor to know George and Beckey and call them friends.

I (Roberta) have known both George and Becky since high school.
We remember George for his very generous hospitality at his and Becky's homes in Eugene, Sun River and their spring break house in Palm Spring. There were many visits, trips, reunions and fun times thru the years. George was always anxious to take Wiley up in his T34 and fly around the Bend area or the valley just for the fun of it. We will keep both of them in our thoughts and prayers.
