Not sure what to say?

Ernest & Patsy, George was a a kind man and a unique individual and the face of Garland to many. I had the privledge of knowing him since a child and he gave many a child a reason to walk to the store for a smile and an Icy. He gave me and Gwynne the opportunity to work for him and Ernest for years, which we will be forever greatful. May God be with you and yours during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers to your family during this time. Rhonda and Ronnie Myers

George is a rare soul who devoted himself to his lovely wife Inez. They lived for each other and serve as a true inspiration to me. I am grateful to have known him and will miss his quick wit and smiling face in our Garland Senior Center Tai Chi classes. Be well George.

George is one of the kindest, most loving souls I've known. His dedication to Inez and hers to him have been an inspiration. Our Tai Chi class was always richer when they came. My heart smiles when I think of him.

Ernest and family, I truly thought your Dad was sent from Heaven when he opened Lander's grocery on Lavon Hwy. My daughters and I have many fond memories of coming to your store and of the two of you and your wonderful meat market. May the Lord place peace in your heart at this time of loss.

Ernest and family,We are thinking of you all during your dad's passing. Thank God for all those memories that nothing can erase. Our condolences to all of the family. David,Nancy Blakey and family

Hugs,

I thank you Father In Law for all the amazing things that you taught me, both in life and in business. Thank you for teaching me to be a good Democrat and to always fight for the little guy. But most of all thank you for sharing your Son with me. He is the greatest legacy you leave behind and I will keep my promise to you to always love him and be there for him. I love you!
