Not sure what to say?

Condolences to the Laska family.
In the 50's I knew George very well along with Jim and John Tivinan.
Moved north when I got married in 1960. Starting in 1961 we exchanged Christmas cards every year thru 2017.
Astonishing enough, I only saw George once in all that time in the early 2000"s. We had a lovely conversation.
Rest in Peace, George.

My thoughts are with the Laska family and friends. I don't need to remind you of what a giant he was in the lives of thousands of students.

I was a student of Mr. Laska's at North High School in 1960 - American History. He was the first teacher who get me to think and not just regurgitate. His method of teaching worked, I have earned a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins and am on faculty at Cornell.

Condolences to George's family. One of the most liked teachers
at North High. He was a true educator and gentlemen who will always be remembered.

The first graduating class of Burncoat (1966) was blessed with many extraordinary educators and community leaders. George Laska was one of them. Many thanks to his family for sharing him with us.

So sorry for your loss.
