Not sure what to say?

Dear Laughlin Family,
You probably don't remember me but I'm a niece of Paddy Gorman. I was just updating my family tree on Ancestry.com and when I accessed Aunt Grace this obit popped up. I remember your Dad from when we would visit Uncle Paddy as children and when I attended Uncle Paddy's funeral with my parents John & Bridie Gorman. I still remember the house at 943 Delaware Ave. and especially the VFW where Uncle Paddy and my dad whiled away the hours. We used to stay at the...

George and I grew up together in Foun tain Hill and was a close friend all my life. After moving from the Hill I always tried to keep in touch with him. I will miss him.

Laughlin Family,
I am so sorry about your dad. He was truly a great person. He was always there to help when you needed it and give support when you needed it.I know it's a very sad time now but maybe you can take some comfort that he is with your mom again. I know how much they loved each other. I have a lot of fond memories of both of them. I remember them at my wedding and I also remember them being there when my mom died. He will never be forgotten!! He did so much for this borough....

Dear Laughlin Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy at this most difficult time. As all "Hillers" know George was a dedicated man to his community, little league, his familty all that he was involved in. Tom would tell me stories about those early days when he coached one of the first St. Ursula's football teams to the many stories concerning the Borough. I have too many memories of the Laughlin family to list, but they are fond ones. George will surely be missed here in the "Hill"....

GEORGE WAS MY COACH ON THE 1957 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM AT ST URSULAS.HE HAD A VERY POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON MY LIFE. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILY.

Dear Brian and Family:

It is so hard for me to put into words how sorry I am for your loss. When I think of George, I think of:
-The man in the picture with my father when he coached St. Ursula CYO football
-The man who who had us sing Christmas Carols at the Legion Christmas parties to bring Santa in from the North Pole
-The man who was behind the table at the Easter Egg Hunts handing out big chocolate bunny prizes
-The man who served our borough of Fountain...

To the Laughlin family,
I have fond memories of George since I was a little girl. My father and George were active members of the FH Legion. My own children got to know George. I know he is at peace now and with Peggy. On behalf of my family I want to express our sympathy to your family may God Bless you all and help you through this difficult time.
