George LeCuyer was a man who made an immediate and lasting impression. He could be abrupt and headstrong, but he was also abundantly generous, caring, intuitive, creative, productive and nurturing.
After his family, his adoptive home was foremost in his thoughts. He was a founder and the greatest champion of revitalisation in downtown Hampton. He brought something unique and sophisticated to a moderately cultured city, thus the intellectual level and general quality of life...
