George Letzner was my homeroom teacher and wrestling coach for 4 years at Solon High. My senior year he was the coach of the year for Greater Cleveland, the greatest wrestling city in the world! This was a reflection of who he was in life. In Heaven, where he watches us, I am sure he received the highest reward, and is preparing for the wrestling team in our city in Heaven. I will always remember George fondly. He and my mom worked together on occasion with buyers and sellers. My mom (Charlene) passed away on August 15, 2023 at the age of 87. I still work in the same office where George & my mom worked. May God continue to comfort those George left behind.

Very sorry for your loss. Coach Letzner ushered in a new wave of wrestling at Rhodes High School. He helped us develop skills, sportsmanship, respect, and pride for our team and our school. His enthusiasm in the classroom encouraged us to be our best academically. His work influenced and guided many of us through our lives and careers. He will be missed, but his influence will carry on through all of us.
