Dr. Libertiny was born on June 14, 1934 and passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Dr. Libertiny was a resident of Michigan. He received his Gold Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol. Visitation will be Monday May 22 from 4:30-7pm at McCabe Funeral Home 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd. Farmington Hills. A funeral service will take place at 1:00pm Tuesday May 23 at Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church 1340 West Long Lake Road Bloomfield Hills Michigan with a private burial. Donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
