Brother George Lindeman

I had Brother Lindeman for a couple classes(religion)at Leo H.S I also spent four years under his tutorship in the pool where he was my swim team and water polo coach. Brother Lindeman's example and guidance is one of the things that has kept me faithful to the Catholic religion. Through my many years of doubting much of my faith I could always look back and recall this selfless man who dedicated his life to God's service and us young Leo men and many others. Very sorry to hear of Brothet Lindeman's paasing. He was a positive influence on all of us at Leo High School, tough when he had to be but unfailingly fair. I always respected him. Thoughts and prayers from the Leo family.

I am a classmate of Brother George. We were lose friends. We built a kayak while we were in school and sailed it on Lake Michigan. We called it the Sailfish. This doesn't sound big but it was WW II and it was very difficult to get supplies to do this sort of thing. we had to do a lot of improvising. When George left to become a Brother he left the Sailfish to me. We remained good friends the rest of his life. I shall certainly miss him
