Age 91, born September 13, 1926, A proud Veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was an avid aviator – Fly to the skies Dad. He had a sensitive caring soul to all, and to everyone & everything around him. Nothing was ever missed. He was very artistic & witty, and had the best belly laugh. He was dearly loved by his family & friends alike. His passion was for flying, and the EAA. He built his Mustang II plane, not from a kit, patented retractable landing gear for that plane, quite an accomplishment. He will be so dearly missed. Husband of Lorraine Linkis (nee Klimowich); Father of Carol (Joe) Brabec, Debbie (Dennis) Spoljaric, and Shari Linkis (Nick); Grandfather to Tom (Tracy) Suntken, Dale (Lanie) Spoljaric, and Amy (Niko) Culic; Great-grandfather of Kelsey, Kiera, Ryder, Penny, and Noelle; Brother of Joanne Corse, and the late Ed Linkis. Services were held privately.
