Not sure what to say?

Caryl and family. We were sad to hear this news but we definitely know that George is with our Lord Jesus. He was a spiritual man for all who knew him and always friendly and with a genuine smile.
When we attended the Chapel as newly weds George came over to invite us to his home. Caryl and George planned a golf game in their living room. We did that again at another time too. There was also hospitality in their home.We enjoyed the family too.
Caryl many prayers to help you with your...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. I was a senior at Wheaton College and met George as a freshman member of the football team. I knew then he was a person to keep an eye on in the future. So grateful that he served the Lord faithfully in word and deed and was an inspiration to so many. One day there will be a great reunion of so many of Wheaton's brave sons and daughters true. May God provide wisdom and council to each of you in the days ahead. Dick Helm and Andrea

Dear Mackenzie Family, We send you our love, and hold you up in our prayers at this difficult time. It's been many years since we've been back to our home chapel in Kenilworth, but our hearts will always be there, thanks to the MacKenzie family.

The first thing I think about George is how he was a great encourager. Young and old, long time chapel folk and new comers; he encouraged them all; including me and my wife, and each of my four kids. I guess the second thing is of his devout love of our Lord Jesus. I'm sure both of the above traits of George will be mentioned on these pages many times; but another that might not be, is how George was always one to find the perfect hymn to sing in our Lord's Supper weekly meeting. Some...

Two years behind George at Wheaton in the 50's, and living in Plainfield, I would jockey for a seat in his car home for the holidays. It was a fast car, and George held the record for fastest time home. Later our family lived in Westfield near the MacKenzies; our daughter was a friend and classmate of Karyn at Westfield High. Much love to you Caryl, Kim and Scott - When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!

I grew up with George at Nible Truth Hall in Plainfield, and later Terrill Road Bible Chapel.
We attended Wheaton College and I will
Never forget a snowy drive to and from Wheaton Christmas 1957. Our fathers golfed together.
He was the perfect example of what a loving Christian man should be. He is now with his LORD; his lifetime purpose fulfilled. Thank you GOD for sharing him.

He was a good man and will be remembered by the Deutscher Family with fond memories. Rest in Peace George. Condolences to the family.

My condolences and prayers go out to Caryl and the entire MacKenzie family. George was very influential in my life as a mentor, example who demonstrated a combination of a Godly man who unashamedly testified that Jesus Christ was the Lord of his life, while at the same time he was a very talented businessman. He offered me great encouragement in my career as one of his employees. He continued to be a friend and mentor even after leaving his employ. George had a positive impact on many people...

As a freshman and Sophomore on the Wheaton football team, George was one of the upperclassmen I admired and respected. Im pretty sure I played in the games when George set records, but he could have cared less about any records. Although our paths never crossed after Wheaton College days, it was great to read that George finished strong. Well done good and faithful servant of our Lord
