Sorry for the later entry. Mr. Macleod was also my favorite teacher, I also had him in 7th or 8th and two years in highschool. What a great inspiration growing up He was always with a smile and his great sense of humor. I have often thought of him over the years. Condolences to the family

I just heard today from former classmates of Mr McLeod´s departure from this life. I was among those lucky PHS students who had him as our teacher in grades 7, 9,&12. Amazingly, every day he would write all the critical points of our lesson on the board so we could follow his lecture and copy the notes. After his classes I felt well prepared for honors biology at WMU! He was a great teacher and wonderful man. I´m grateful to have spent those hours in his classroom.

My heartfelt sympathy to Linda and George´s family on their loss. For 40 years George and I have shared our passion for antiques and especially all things concerning Upjohn´s history and all things related to Eli Lilly´s fish shaped cod liver oil bottles. I live in Indiana, but I was blessed to reconnect with George last month when this photo was taken. He was a joy to know and his enthusiasm was truly contagious. I will miss him very much.

I grew up next door and knew the family so well. George's mother, Margaret, was my surrogate grandmother who always drove a Checker. George and Linda were always so friendly and gracious when they took over the family home, a gem of the neighborhood. I have so many wonderful Macleod memories. My thoughts and prayers to all of the family.

I moved into the West Main Hill neighborhood seven years ago. Linda and George´s house is two houses away, and they were some of the first neighbors I met. I talked to George often as I was walking my dog and George would be out working in the yard. He was a good man and truly one of the kindest, most soft-spoken, unassuming man I have ever met. I am a history buff and so enjoyed learning much about the history of our neighborhood from George and I had so much more I wanted to learn about it...

I've never forgotten Biology class with Mr. MacLeod, we were doing experiments with mice and nutrition, and he asked if anyone would like to taste the cod liver oil we were feeding the mice. I don't know why I volunteered, but he gave me a spoonful. It was great comedic relief in class, everyone had a good laugh at my reaction. He made learning so interesting and fun. Rest in Peace.
