Not sure what to say?

George...you will be greatly missed. I can't even phantom a Raider reunion without you.
My late husband Carl held you in very high esteem. Carl would be grateful for your guidance and mentoring of our grandson Ethan after he passed away.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gloria.
Marcia Boles

George was a great man who will be greatly missed. He was so kind to everyone he encountered and will always hold a special place in my heart. My love to you Gloria, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

George, the time that Fawn and I spent in your presence will be remembered and greatly treasured, especially our road trip to Quantico to view the Marine Raider Museum in June 2007. That day will forever be etched in our hearts. Your efforts and help with the annual Norfolk Azalea Festival on behalf of The Royal Canadian Legion Post 180 will always be appreciated and will be missed. You were an amazing individual and we are privileged to have known you and spent time with you. And as...

Such a wonderful kind man. He always had a smile for you. He will truely be missed by those whose lives he touched.

George, I will miss seeing you at our reunions and hope in my own dwindling days I can exist with the lively dignity you showed during the last few years of your life.

I was blessed to know George MacRae as a mentor and a friend who offered me his encouragement and support. He will be missed. I will honor George’s memory by carrying on his efforts to document and preserve the history of the U. S. Marine Raiders. Semper Fidelis, Cpl. MacRae. Rest in peace…

I miss him already.

You are many things to many people....but to me, you will always be my Uncle George. God bless you as you reunite with all of our loved ones and family in Heaven. I know my Dad and you are having a great reunion with the whole family. How happy Jennifer must be that her dad finally came home. I love you. For all of the good memories and for your heroic service as a Marine Raider I am deeply grateful.
