George was a good, kind, and caring man, along with his wife Lois Anne. They welcomed me with opened arms into the Springfield 16 Arces Lions Club as the first woman to join the club and as the second member of color in the '90s. I will truly miss my talks with George about our baseball teams and our days working at Sears and Roebuck. I will miss his cheerful voice and words of wisdom. Rest my friend.
