George Patrick Mair

It was a privilege to have you as our neighbor for over a decade and spending more time with you these last few years, when you began facing more health challenges. It broke our hearts to see the pain you had to go through, but we hope bringing you food and driving you around to appointments brought you comfort and reminded you that you were cared for. We will miss seeing you around, and will always remember you with warmth and affection.

Our #1 classmate at St. Ignatius, #1 in the greatest class of the greatest high school ever built, National Merit Scholar, It´s Academic Team leader, SAT 800 Score Leader, Graduate Of Harvard/Harvard Law, Voted Superlawyer many times, great Chicago native, great classmate.

My sympathy goes out to the entire Mair family for their loss of George. I only had the opportunity to meet him a couple of times, but it didn't take long to realize what a brilliant guy he was. I know he will be terribly missed by all of his family and friends.
