Sandy, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I used to hang around Sandy's Music, first in the North End, and later in the South End. An annoying high school kid, and he and your mom (and you) put up with me. When I stayed until closing, which I often would, they would give me a ride home so I didn't have to take the bus, even though it was out of the way for them. Your dad encouraged me to take a summer semester at Berklee - so glad he got to go there. I bought lots of equipment...

I never met Mr. Mallalieu, but his daughter Sandy, and son-in-law Jim, are two of the nicest and most decent people I´ve ever known. He must have been something special. All the best to his entire family during this difficult time.

Georgie, it was a great pleasure to have you and Joan attend my parents (Larry & Margie) 50th anniversary party a few years ago. I thank you for the friendship you shared with them, especially my father. You were very special to him and I know he will miss you. Joan, you are in my thoughts and prayers...I am deeply saddened for you and Sandy. I know that God will provide you with the comfort and strength to move through this difficult time.
