George was nothing less than a gift, and proof that there is a God and he loves us. George and I went to junior college togther, worked together, and was a staple of any kind of get together that I had. I have been living in New Jersey for 17 years and George came to one of my BBQs. He had rented a car and had a big ziploc bag of quarters for the tolls. Whenever an event that I put on was finished, George would always stay late to help clean up. George, How sad to read this news today. I haven't seen or talked to you for years, the last time was a lovely party in West Stockbridge. You were telling me about how you rode your bike up to Cousin Eddies in Vermont by Mt. Snow, which was a long drive and how the heck!! To know you was to love you, for sure, that great attitude and lovely smile. I hope you look down upon us all fondly. Tell Kelly hello. Condolences to family and friends of George. Fly High my friend!

Our family was shocked and saddened by the news of George's passing. I had seen him recently after Mass and had, as always, a nice conversation with him. Truly a quality human being and it was our pleasure to know him and be in his company. Condolences to family and friends.

George you will be missed my brother. On the rugby pitch you were a true machine. I will always remember the care you took of your teammates during our matches and thank you for it. You once gifted me and my wife a heritage golden raspberry bush and we have enjoyed its bounty for years. Thanks for always being a such a wonderful human being and amazing teammate. This world needs more people like you in it!

My hunting season will be a somber one this year without George, we had been planning, of course. The world is a lot less nice without you on it, old friend. You will always be in my heart when I am hunting. Rest in peace.
