He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria (Farhat) and all of her nine siblings. He was also preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings, Albert, Elizabeth, Anthony, Esther, and Georgette, He is survived by his brother Jerry. George's spouse is Amal (Zaher) Jouri. He is the grandfather of 30 and great grandfather of 16. George was blessed with many nieces and nephews. George was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Flint, as well as a founding member of Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Flint. He was a US Army veteran, having served in Stuttgart, Germany. He worked for his father at Citizens Market before venturing on his own, along with his lifelong business partner and brother, Jerry. In the 1960s, George and Jerry owned a fruit stand and deer processing center in Flint's north end, and turned it into a grocery store and laundromat. They then went on to become one of Flint's most respected real estate developers, building high profile projects. George retired in 1983 to take care of his wife Gloria during her illness and to spend more time with his family. From this experience he became an active member of hospice. Not sure what to say?

When my kids were little, Mr Mansour would sit behind us in church and play with them, when they got restless--we always looked forward to seeing him. I always thought his picture should be next to the word "gentleman" in the dictionary. The world lost a great example of a human being ..... Condolences to the Mansour family.

So sorry to hear of uncle George´s passing. Our condolences to the Mansour family. He was truly a kind and benevolent man and will be missed. I have many found memories of all the good times and get togethers our families enjoyed over the years. Aunt Gloria was a very good friend to my mother Mary Marino. They spoke on the phone daily. Sheri (Marino) & Frank Simoni

I was working as a hospice nurse and went to see a 95 year old woman and George was there sitting with her in her in her home of many years . His warm smile lit up the room. We spent a few minutes together, I wish it was more. He inspired me that day. A smile is better than words. Love is a Verb we say in our family . God bless you George Thank you for smiling at me, I will never forget you. Linda Rademacher (Bob)

Woodfield neighborhood has not been the same since he moved , use to see George walking in neighborhood every morning. RIP .

Our family knew George and Gloria from Holy Rosary. We even attended their son´s first mass at Our Lady of Lebanon. They had a beautiful family and a wonderful life. He worked hard. May he rest in peace.

George was a wonderful man. I learned a lot from him in my time at Great Giant. He taught me how to be efficient and a lot about the grocery business. I still enjoy going to the grocery store and really enjoy going when I am on vacation in a foreign country. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.
