George Edgar Markley

George was my former boss at the VA Hospital years ago. He was working with me on the midnight shift when a patient came in at 5:30 am and shot himself in the head. George and I never forgot that incident. George was intelligent, funny and the best boss I ever had. I trusted him with my life. I'm so sorry I missed his funeral but I was in the hospital during the Christmas holidays which is why I missed it. I would surely have come. I miss you to this day George even though you refused...

George I love you with all my heart. I remember the good times and all of the huggs you use to give me. I have been arround you and Sandra so long that I feel like familey. Donnie and David will be glad to see you . You can rest not no more pain. We will miss you but I know you are in a better place and not suffering. Love you Good bye

We were very sorry to hear about George's passing.I worked with George for a number of years a Wood's Funeral Home and he was a fine man. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Jim and Myra Berry.

I didn't know Mr. Markley personally, but my late mother, Mary Ellis, was a medical records technician at the VA Hospital and always spoke often and highly of Mr. Markley.
