Not sure what to say?

Met him when I was a young trooper. He was a very nice guy. My condolences.

Mae, so sorry to hear of George's passing. I really enjoyed his friendship and as a working partner.

George was a shining light when dealing with tragedy and brought everyone comfort. He is missed.

As an OSP detective, I always appreciated the work done by the Portland Crime Lab lead by Lt. Matsuda. A true professional who served as an example, in more than one way, to those who knew him.

George had a refreshing quiet sense of humor and was a calming influence for me during my early career with the OSP Forensic Lab. My condolences to his family.

George and May are my neighbors. He always had a smile and sometimes a little joke,. They have always kept a beautiful garden and have been wonderful neighbors. My condolences to May and family.

George was my neighbor for many years. I always enjoyed talking with him and May when they walked through the neighborhood. He was a great guy and loved to tease!

I will miss him very much.

George was always a gentle soul and a calming influence. Very intelligent and patient. He will be missed.

A great supporter of the many police agencies in Oregon. So sorry to see him go.
