George Spruce McCain

I was so sorry to hear about Spruce's passing, especially at such a difficult time for gathering together, which I know he loved to do. What a full and wonderful life he lived. We enjoyed the many Thanksgivings together, and it was nice seeing Spruce and Lucy recently at the office building. I was not able to log on to the livestream service on Saturday like I had hoped. The family was in my thoughts, and I hope to get together at a later date.

Mr. McCain was a true southern gentleman. He was a great friend of my father and I was blessed to have known him my entire life. Always had a smile and a kind word. South Carolina has lost a fine man. God Bless him and the entire McCain family.

Spruce was a fine man and always a gentleman. I always enjoyed seeing him and Lucy at the condominiums where we lived for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with Lucy and his family. I am sure he will be missed by many people. ❤

What a beautiful tribute to a life well lived. We feel fortunate to have know him even for a short time. To his entire family, children , grandchildren, and greats, thank you for sharing him.
