George and I became good friends during our years together as docents. Even after he no longer gave tours, we'd go to the museum, and while I did my tour, he'd talk with the security guards, the cafeteria workers and the information desk volunteers. After I finished, we'd do our own tours, talking about what was good, bad or great. Then coffee or lunch and we'd have had another "Tuesday with George".

Barbie, and all of the McCann family,
I am so sorry for your loss. George always greeted me with a warm smile and a wave hello when I came to visit with my mom. I will miss him greatly. Kristen Mackness(Suzanne's daughter)

It was a great privilege to come to know George this past year. I was always met with a warm welcome and bright smile every time I saw him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him at Judson.

My deepest condolences to all the members of George's family on the loss of your father.
It was my pleasure to have worked with your Mother, Mike and Mark several years during which time I came in contact with your father a number of times.
