Not sure what to say?

A true Southern Legend. Thanks for making me and people n Arkansas HAPPY

I played in bands at the same time in the 70s, never got the big break. I was talking with George one day about that and he said "it's not how far up the ladder you climb, it is how many people you hake happy along the way. Changed my life that day, thank you George.

Hope you are Resting in Peace with Tommy and Toy.

The Tucker boys were cooking down in Caroline... What a sound, George being an integral piece, legend,...God Speed

I will never forget seeing them all back in the 70's and 80's. Great music and even had the pleasure of meeting Toy at a small bar one night when he was doing his own thing. Great guy and marine to boot. George and Toy together were tremendous. RIP. Your music still plays today in my house and my truck.

JERRY SHARBEL i will always keep love in my heart for him who i think of as a brother i could love him no more always in my heart and prays he will live on forever threw god and music (i played a many nights with George and the rest at lamp lighter)

I hve always loved your music, have made it a point to learn your music as closely as possible. please know that there is an entire population of music lovers that will never let your music die. i am proud to be amoungst them. god bless you all. , buddy

By working for a co. called Cameron sound I had the privilege of standing on stage for many tours watching George grinding away at his ax, making Toy sound as good as he did.
. I have worked for most all of the southern rock acts, and MTB was my personal favourite.
It is my professional opinion that George was the backbone and heart and soul of MTB.
Besides being the finest rhythm guitar player, I have ever seen, he played a fine lead guitar as well.
. What was most...

Such wonderful music, and memories came from this mans life. As long as I can remember I've enjoyed his music so very much. Words alone cannot express how much I will miss George McCorkle. RIP
