Not sure what to say?

I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet George's family. I grew up with George in Kingstree, SC. We knew each other from kindergarten. I agree that golf with George was a special event. As a playing partner through high school I was with George when he got his first set of pro clubs "Arnold Palmers". Not only was George gifted as a golfer, he was a gifted human being who followed his own star.

Dear Ashby - the sad news reached St Andrews very quickly and I also heard of your sad loss from Cathy Tolman. Just to let you know that I'm thinking of you and your family. St Andrews University mourns for you all but lives on in your father's memory.

Margo - University of St Andrews

George was a great person. Funny, quick witted and in the face of seemingly dire circumstances, both brave and irreverent. I didn't know him well, but he definately left an impression. I am saddened at his passing. He fought a good fight.

Dear Mary, Terah, Ashby and Priscilla- I'm thinking about you and remembering the laughter and good times.

Mary,
I was so sorry to hear about George. Although I hadn't seen him in years, I will always remember our good times at USC and his passion for Gamecock basketball. You and I were in Chi O together during those great years. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I knew George at Carolina and although I have not seen him in years, I'll always remember his great personality. Please accept my sympathies.

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. WHAT A FINE INDIVIDUAL.

Terah-
My thoughts and prayers extend to you and your family~ I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

Terah,
We were saddened to hear about the death of your father from Katherine. You and your family are in our prayers. God bless you!
