Not sure what to say?

What an amazing man and educator. One of the reasons I got into education myself.

George was one of a kind. I was lucky to have been inspired by him in his AP history class at Ferris. To this day, every time I hear the names Rasputin, the Romanovs, and Nostradamus, I think of George. Thank you, George, for loving and inspiring my siblings and me. We were blessed to have known you.

So kind, so funny and witty and interesting--and such a pleasure for my mother, Dorothy Darby Smith, when he stepped in, as he did for decades, to help her mount theatre in Spokane. George was a treasure--so, too, my memories of him.
Nikki Smith

I have fond memories of working with George at Ferris High School. He was kind, funny, and smart. My condolences to the family.

George was the reason I became a history teacher. He was such an amazing guy and will be missed.

Rest in peace my friend I always remember you coming in to the store and getting a cookie God Bless you and your family!
