Not sure what to say?

I immediately busted up when I saw this unfortionate revelation.Pat and I go back a long way.My brother and I used to do light show's for him and the BearValley Blues Band when they first started. He was a wonderful man and a fantastic musician.I just wish he got better breaks in the industry than he did,My condolence to the family. He definitely will be missed by us all.God Bless You.Earl Saxon

I am saddened to hear of Pat "Bear's" passing. He was a wonderful friend. Although our paths have gone different directions, I still thought of him often. So many evenings he played his guitar at my house and I have cherished the recording I made so I could say "I knew him when". I was just saying to my sister recently, "I need to look up Pat". I will miss him and sorry for our loss.

Well Pat, when we were young and you used to hang out at the Foundry with the old "Foundry Family" I never would have believed that I'd be so saddened by the loss of a friend so many years passing. Haven't seen much of you the past 30 years, though we did come out to hear you play when other old friends came into town. It seemed the thing to do when revisiting the past. It won't be the same in Wichita without you, and we won't get to go see Pat again. Your music touched my soul, but your soul...

LOVED SEEING PAT PERFORM WHETHER AT THE CHOKE, TORIES PIZZA, OR RIVER FEST... HE'S THE BEST!!! will always be thinking of him...always!

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Pat's passing. My husband and I had always admired Pat's ability. Wicheeta will never be the same. Thanks for letting us meet ya Pat, cya, A & N Chavez

In the early '80s, Pat and his band were what got me through a very rough time in my life, when they were the house band at My Brother's Place. I knew I could always go there and have my spirits lifted by Pat, his love for music, and the inability to NOT dance to it!

The last time I saw Pat perform at the Roadhouse, as a special guest with the Air Capitol Big Band, I thought to myself, "What an incredible musical treasure this man is to our city." He truly was a gift that so many of us enjoyed. My condolences to his family, he will be missed by all who were lucky enough to experience his talent.

Happy Landings, Pat.

Oh Pat,
So hard for me to believe you are gone. I know you and Eric are making music up in heaven with your Mom listening and cheering. I will miss you...

To Tomi, Barbara and children, and the entire McJimsey family,

I am so sorry for your loss and the grief I know you are experiencing. You are all in my prayers...

blessings,
Gail, Pat's former sister-in-law and friend
