Not sure what to say?

I'm from the L&C Law Class of 1984 and knew Skip fairly well during our time at L&C. I recall one memorable, overnight ski trip to Mt. Hood with Skip and several other law cohorts. I liked Skip very much and always thought that he was great guy. I moved to Texas after law school and lost touch with most of the L&C folks, but I've often thought of Skip (usually after any invocation of Ben Franklin, whom I thought he resembled in the early 80s, and shared intellectual traits). I'm very sorry...

Hello, Kerry:
I was reading through the latest OSB magazine when I read the obituary that Skip had passed unexpectedly. This was very sad and shocking news. I wish you and your family my deepest sympathies and hope for the futre.

Dear Kerry,

Our paths have not crossed in a very long time, but please know how sad I am to learn tonight of your loss. Please let me know if I can be of any help at all. I send love, thoughts and prayers to you and your entire family.

I was shocked to learn of Skip's untimely death. Knowing him and working with him was a privilege, a most respectful person and a fine lawyer. Blessings to your family as you figure out how to cope at this hard time.

Kerry - I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I cherished our times together and was so glad to be part of your life when you met Skip. My my - how time flies and only to hear about you when you experience a loss. Dan and I enjoyed Skip and miss you as well.

Kerry -- Paul & I were out of town for three weeks and just heard this truly sad news yesterday. Skip was such a wonderful steady presence in this neighborhood, always warm and sweet, attentive and thoughtful. We will miss him and send love and thoughts to you and your family. We would love to touch base with you if you are around.
warmly, Jinx & Paul

Kerry you have my deepest sympathies. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My husband passed away 6 years ago so I have some idea of what you are going through. Warmest regards, Annette

I'm shocked and sorry to hear of Skip's death. I worked for him for over two years at Kennedy King and Zimmer and years after I left, I still compared my later employers with him and Kennedy King.
