Not sure what to say?

As the years go by, old Geo is always there in my thoughts. I will never forget my old pal. Best to all The McKennas wherever they are. Hobey

Rita...thank you for calling our home in Richmond to knowledge my flying up for the funeral mass. I felt better about being there as I had lost touch with one of my closest boyhood friends with whom I have most fond memories. I did write your brother-in-law, John, who called me at your bidding to inform me of George's death...Thanks so much....jim doherty

I was so sad to read about Mr. McKenna'
s passing. What a kind, wonderful man. I have such warm memories of my time at the McKenna house on Westmont. My love to Mrs. McKenna, Mary, and all of the family who were so fortunate to have shared their lives with such a beloved man.

Dear Mrs McKenna,Michael and entire McKenna Family,

The prayers and condolences to you from the Miller family. Mr. McKenna always made you feel special and at home when you saw him, no matter what the circumstances. He was engaging, charismatic and had a chuckle only a father-figure could have. May he be at peace and his presence always be with you.

God Bless,

Brett

To the entire McKenna Family,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked for Dr. David, Dr. John and Dr. Paul for 13 years and always admired and loved the McKenna family. I was away on a business trip and am sad I did not attend George's service. Please accept my deepest sympathy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Nancy Brault

We too are neighbors who always waved to Mr.McKenna when he mowed the lawn or went for walks on the street. We will miss his smile and send our condolences to the family he leaves behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Rita and family,
It was so difficult to learn of George's passing. My heart aches for all of you. I wish I could be with you right now. Just thinking about him brings back so many wonderful, fun memories. He was indeed a very, very special man and will be missed by so many people of all ages - young and old.
In my sorrow, I can't help but think of someone who feels sad for his family but will be so happy once again to see his great friend. I can see them now Harry and George going...

To Pete and family...We were so sorry to hear of the death of your father. What a great loss for your family! He surely sounded like a great guy and had a wonderful family and life. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with you. Kathy and Bill Murtha and family.....Presently Jupiter, Florida

I heard about George's passing while at Mass this evening and am so sorry I didn't learn in time to pay my respects at his funeral. My condolences to the entire McKenna family. George was an amazingly kind, warmhearted man who was so good to our family over the years. He will be greatly missed -- and no one will ever recapture his joyful laugh!
