Not sure what to say?

I loved George´s Dairy Bar and was sad to see when it closed permanently! It was a blessing to the people of Piqua for all those years!!! George knew how to be a success and inspiration to many! My heart goes out to all who loved him and will grieve over this great loss! May GOD comfort all of you now and in the days to come!

Ruth, we fondly remember all the times you called us as you were cleaning out the soft serve machines. And the Christmas trees you sold. Martin, Pete, Susan and Crystal Overholt

I remember George calling me "One of those Horner girls" every winter when I went to pick up my Christmas tree. What a wonderful man.

Cluster of 50 Memorial Trees

He will always be remembered. Dan and family you are all in my prayers. George was always a kind and loving man to all of us from Piqua.

Ruth, sorry to hear of Georges passing. Boy all the way back to the late 50's a chocolate spoon malt made by George was my treat, Hot fudge sundae for Judy. Scott & Judy Looney Helen Enos (106)

Always a little bit of sunshine when delivering mail. Friendly smile. Really tasty ice cream too! Condolences to the family

So sorry for your loss. Many good memories of George at the Dairy Bar and church. Loved the old fashioned blizzards. Especially thankful for George and Ruth for all of their visits and flowers with my mom when she was in assisted living. They meant slot yo mom and our family.

My smpathies to all of George's family and friends.George was a significant presence in my childhood, between church at St. John's, his friendship with my mother. Wilma, and of course the Dairy Queen. I left Piqua in 190 but George has never been forgotten. He was a well loved gentleman with a quick smile and a huge heart. May he rest in peace.
