My prayers and condolences to the McTeer family. Dr. McTeer and I knew each other while I was a student and later became an employee of the Medical University of SC, College of Dental Medicine. He was a determined, confident and kind man who never lost sight of his purpose. He will be sadly missed and forever respected.

George was guide at my orientation with other freshmen at South Carolina State College. He was impressive in giving us the best the university had and offering his help in making us feel welcome and at home. He instilled hope in beginning college and getting rid of any fears in college away from home. My he rest in peace and sympathies to the family.

It is with much sadness that I send
my condolences to the McTeer family.Norma Jean,Sonya,Arlene,George Jr,and Tide/Leroy you are in my prayers for a God given comfort. Love to you.

We are truly sadden to learn of Dr. McTeer's transition, but we know that. . . "if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." Our family extends our love, peace and comfort to you during this difficult time. We are thankful that we had the opportunity to befriend such a kind, humble and gentle giant.
