Not sure what to say?

George was our Class Counselor when I went through FBI Training in the mid 1960s. George was a dedicated person who made sure that we were ready for the Field. God Bless.

My most sincere condolences to the Menzel family. I met George in 1998 when I attented the 401st's reunion in Savannah where he allowed me to tell the story, to the membership, of me finding my brother's dog tag at the crash site of a 1943 B-17 accident in Montana. I'll always remember him. Sincerely, Fred Gregorich, Oakdale, Pa.

Dear Children Of George,

George and i graduated from Bombardier school in Victorville Calif. in 1944 and realized at that time we were both from Baltimore. I have remained in touch and visited your dad over these many years and I am saddened by his death. We still have several mutual bombardier friends who are still living and I have informed them of his parting.

Kate, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was privileged to study under Dr. Menzel at Armstrong back in the 80s. I liked him so much. He was a great man, a great teacher, and I'll never forget him. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Dr. Menzel was a great instructor of Criminal Justice at Armstrong in the 1980"s, he was one of my professors. So sad to hear of his passing.

Forever aloft and forever in our hearts.

Lisa and Kate,
It was a joy and an honor to have had the opportunity to know your father. May memories of fun times together sustain you during this sad time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
