Not sure what to say?

Today the 22nd anniversary of that tragic day I remember the loss of a beautiful soul George Merkouris. I was a friend of his sister Anna and thus got to know George and Koula. My heart breaks for the pain they must still feel from his departure. May his soul continue to shine in the heavens and in the hearts of his 3 wonderful kids. Hugs to Anna, Koula and his kids.

George, I recently watched the 21st memorial and of course I thought about you. It is hard to believe that 21 years have gone by without you. I can honestly say that you were the nicest and friendliest person I have ever met and remember how popular you were when you first arrived at MS. Love you brother!!!

Thinking about you George, during the 21st anniversary. Never forgotten. God Bless.

Our thoughts are with George today

I worked with George back in 1988 at Morgan Stanley. I remember first meeting him and how incredibly friendly he was. We knew him fir a short time but he invited my wife and to his wedding and what a great wedding it was. It was the beginning of our careers and the future was bright. G-D Bless George!!!

An incredible smile on an incredibly nice, good person. Great conversations about our business. Joining with ohers of ilk at the annual Copper Club meet & greet parties and rubber chicken dinners at the Waldorf Astoria. I will never stop remembering that there was once this great business friend and then he was gone.

Always remembered

I just saw George's name on TV during the FoxNews 911 program and felt compelled to look him up.

I never met him nor heard his name before but being Greek I felt I needed to learn a bit about him.

My sincerest condolences to his friends and family.

God Bless you all.

I can't believe it's been 15 years. We last saw you at Anna's house for her yearly block party. What a great time we all had. I still can't believe this has happened and you are gone. You will always be remembered as a kind and caring person. God bless you and your beautiful family.
