George L. Meyer

George was a really nice man. He was one of the Purchasing Agents at Webcor Phonograph Company. I worked in the same department in the early 60's. I was a teenager, first job, and George was patient and understanding. The company was sold and we were transferred further downtown in a converted brownstone at the front of the property. I just heard from my mom of George´s passing. Oh George...I miss you! You were like a grandpa I never had. I loved cutting his lawn and stopping by to chat with him. I always looked forward to his Christmas card each year and sending him one of our family. You will be missed! Sending prayers to the family!
