Not sure what to say?

I have thought about George so often. He was my godfather and a very dear family friend. George and my father were at UVA together , including Medical School.. George was indeed a wonderful world traveler. He was brave enough to take me and his other goddaughter to Spain and France with him in 1962. Of course, with George, we had a wonderful time. I will always miss George´s gentle voice , his boundless thirst for learning in many areas, and his own ways of showing that he cared deeply.

Love Pastor George. Knew him 1972-1976, San Diego LCR. Are there any tapes of his sermons?
Would Love to hear his voice, lessons, again. One confirmation lesson, joke, 1975, was, 'GPC' in the clouds. ' Go Plow Corn ' More later... Richard Baumann age 57. Family knew him.

For the Hazel Green Academy family, I extend sincere sorrow to the family of Dr. George Minor. He graduated from our school in eastern Kentucky in 1931, earning 2nd Honors. He attended HGA 4 years (1927-31) in the 9th through 12th grades. We are proud of his accomplishments and his good works.

Our sympathy to the Minor family and the whole UVa family. George Minor was a dear friend. I feel fortunate to have operated, laughed, learned, dined, driven, and cooked with him. He made the perfect Sugar Cookies!
