Not sure what to say?

After attending the wonderful Memorial Service of your Father/Grandfather, I wanted to add a memory to my above entry- George came in and sat down the last time I saw him near Christmas. He usually just had a little ice cream, but this day he asked for a banana split- to go. He was very weary, I could tell. I made him a very good one and covered and packed it to carry, after showing it to him. He was a very strong man, and as his nature , I learned at the Memorial, a little...

I worked for George for several years at Oscar Mayer, Goodlettsville. He was a great boss and a wonderful man. He was always so upbeat about life and he had a very positive influence on every one he came in contact with. I did not know that Pat had died in 2014. Condolences to the family.

George was a fixture at Aldersgate, where I met him three years ago. We used to run into each other when he was walking Blitzen and rode the van together to shopping centers in Charlotte several times a month. I loved hearing his many stories, and I´m so glad he leaves the production of Acting Our Age as part of his legacy. He enjoyed his cocktail hour with his grandson via Zoom once a week and told me that his daughter the dentist had promised him "free dental care for life" when she...

I was so sorry to hear of George´s passing. I have some favorite childhood memories of our family visiting his family...He was a wonderful person. May God bless you and may your memories sustain you during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to all the family of George. He was a bright light wherever he happened to be in Aldersgate. He shared a lot of stories of Pittsburgh with me, as I was from Steubenville, Ohio, then moved to Cadiz, only an hour away. I loved hearing also about his model trains and wish I could´ve seen them. George always talked about your Mother/Grandmother with longing, his suffering is done now and they are finally together again.

No one who met your amazing George will ever forget him! It was such an honor to get to know him during our many hours spent together crafting the Acting our Age stage production where he mesmerized the audience with his amazingly miraculous story of re-uniting with his birth mother at the age of 70! Warm, funny, a magnificent storyteller! What an honor to have known him! I miss seeing him at Aldersgate. Condolences to his family, Lyndall Hare
