George H. Moose

For three years running, late Mom and I spent a weekend aboard Lady Katie, and sailed with her in the race off Sandy Point one fall. Thought of George & Capt. Stanley just tonight. Spoke with Stanley a year or so ago, but only now discovered that George was gone. To his sister, and all who knew and loved him, it is no surprise that he was the kind of guy who´d still come to mind decades later. George and I were childhood friends in Newton. He was a great guy and he will be missed. We lost contact with each other after college and am sad that we did not reconnect

We grow up together in Newton and were best friends all through school. George was a great guy and we went our separate ways during college and after. He will be missed

I thought Mrs. Moose might appreciate seeing George and Charles Herschel Radford looking at site of the ball diamond of Byrd Prillerman where we all attended. In my view, George was a special person who stood out in so many ways. God bless.
