Not sure what to say?

Scott,
Sorry to find out about the passing of your Dad. It’s been 50 years since the days of us driving to school at NAHS in the morning and seeing your father behind the big police desk at town hall. I always thought your father was in ham radio back in the Riverview Gardens days.but couldn’t tell as outdoor antennas really weren’t allowed there. Hope all has been well by you over the years. Still got your pilots license? Anyway, funny how radio intertwines life.I met my wife to be,...

We have known George for 36 years. He has been a great friend and neighbor. We always felt safe with George across the street, looking after our house and teenage boys when we were away, no big parties! We cruised to Alaska together and have many fond memories of that trip! Our hearts go out to his family and Eleanor, who has been by his side for many years. Hugs and prayers. The Philson Family

N2VWL, how I loved to hear that call on the Cherryville Repeater!!! George was the one who dressed us in the caps, shirts, and tote bags( I wore the t shirt last Thursday), that he got for us club members at a good price!! Field Day was a lot of fun with George being around. My sincerest sympathy to Miss Eleanor and his family. 73 and 88!! KB2YJX/Sandra

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed taking George to physical therapy. We always had fun going shopping or to drive past the farm to show me how they spray painted the Christmas trees crazy colors. And how the elevator broke and he was inside it. Eleanor got a chair and a stepstool and we got him out and up.
We had a good time together. I am thankful to have known him.

I know George will be missed by Eleanor and Kenny. My condolences to both and their families.

Sir,
I did not know you personally, however I would very much like to "Thank You" for your dedicated and honorable Military Service to OUR country.
At a later date we will meet in that "SPECIAL PLACE" which GOD reserves for ALL of those who have stepped forward to serve their country in a Military Uniform.
May ALL of GOD'S blessings be with your Dear Family!
