George and I were classmates all through school at Hartford, Michigan. He was a popular kid and a lightning athlete. Probably what gave him an edge.....his extremely fast reflexes. Had he not been wounded in WWII, he could have become a big league baseball player. Over the last years we have lost track of each other, but my memories of him remain vivid. There were a group of us who were couples in high school and have remained so during our whole lives....they include George & Gloria...

I remember George when I was at the Vicksburg Commerical playing golf with him. That was back in the 1960's I believe. I remember George for the smaile he always had on his face. We didn't play golf too often but I remember he was a good player. I enjoyed golf with George.
