Not sure what to say?

Miss you Geoge and it was a fun ride we shared that together and i valued your help and friendship Sleep well We will broadcast together for eternity, George!

So sorry to hear of MrMurphy's passing! We were wondering why we hadnt seen the show lately, and thought maybe it was just a Covid delay, so researching if it would be back came across this sad news! He was a wonderful storyteller, we really enjoyed all his programs, and especially loved his MOUNTAIN PARK MEMORIES segments. Condolences to you all. He will live on in all his great work! https://www.pbs.org/video/wgby-documentaries-mountain-park-memories The Holmans

Linda and Family, George of very happy memory is missed, greatly appreciated, and a wonderful part of my life. I enjoy still watching his programs on Public TV. He enjoyed what he did, and he enjoyed that others enjoyed what he did. Prayers for all good and every Blessing for you all.

Linda:
May you find peace in the memories and times you shared together. He was well loved by all. His presence will be missed on the show we loved to watch. My deepest sympathy. Nancy Bates

So sorry for your loss! I will miss his great personality on his show every Saturday night! That was the highlight of my evening! I'm sure he's in heaven giving tours on making it here right now! Thank you George!,

Linda and Family, I am sorry that your husband and father, George, has passed away. He was an amazing man with a terrific sense of humor and always making everyone laugh. I pray the sadness you are feeling will soon turn to the wonderful memories of George and your lives together and that you will be comforted by the amazing memories he left us all.

I worked with George during his days at WREB radio in Holyoke. He was a wit to listen to, on and off the air. Of course he went on to bigger things as his talent lead him. I enjoyed listening to him on WMAS. He was a favorite of my father as well. He often quoted his jokes for us. George Murphy made a difference to us and to so many more. You will be missed for what you brought us in smiles and laughs. R.I.P. our friend. May your family and other friends find peace during this...

Really enjoyed the time spent with George in the late 70's working together on an NBC, Emmy nominated TV Show, called "Odyssey". Now he is making them all laugh in heaven. To the family, so, so sorry for your loss.
