I think of George every time I step into the woods on my property. As my father´s best friend and long time coworker at St. Vincent´s Medical Center of Richmond, George was a positive force in my life. He taught me how to hunt and helped me develop a respect for nature and conservation. After my dad suffered a horrible fall late in life, George called me weekly to check on Dad´s condition. I´m terribly sorry for your loss but rest certain that his faith brought him to the Lord.

I think if George every year just before the beginning of deer hunting season. George and my dad Mort Flexer worked together at St. Vincent´s Medical Center of Richmond. They were also close friends. They went deer hunting together for years. When I turned sixteen I joined them hunting. George was kind enough to take me under his wing and helped me develop my skills as a deer hunter. He also taught me the proper way to butcher a deer. I attribute my tracking, hunting and butchering...

He was my high school roommate but also my pal @ St Bernard. It's hard to know where to begin, but I must express my sincere condolences to all of you who loved him best.

My sincere condolences to you and your family !! I will always remember how likable George was !! From when I was young he always liked to joke around with my dad at work !! The best boss my dad ever had !! George will be missed !!
