I met George in Tucson back in the mid to late 1980's. He was about as knowledgeable and well versed in so many aspects of life as anyone I've ever met, truly one of "The Greatest Generation". Although I haven't spoken with George since then, I remember him fondly. Rest in Peace Sir.
