I was very saddened to hear about George's untimely death. We worked together at Exxon for many years in Linden, mostly in the same areas of gasoline quality, and automotive emissions. George was such a gentle and kind man. I have such fond memories of times we spent together, particularly at the US Tennis Open which he enjoyed so much.

Dear family. I had the honour of working with George when he was on assignment to the Esso Research Centre in the UK. He was both an extremely skilled fuels experts but also a kind and gentle person, always prepared to help and offer advice to young engineers. He will be sadly missed by all his Exxon colleagues.
