George was always welcoming and kind to me, even though as Carl's sister, I was a virtual stranger to him. We had conversations about nothing that was consequential, but fun, none the less. He was a gentleman, always.

Uncle George, your advice and constant encouragement throughout my brother's and my childhood and adolescence has shaped us into who we are today. You gave us the confidence to take risks and question everything and everyone.
