Uncle George was like a second father to me. I had the pleasure to seeing him often when he and Auntie Ginny made their way to Florida and of course we go way back. He helped me through many tough times as well as enjoyed many, many good times. I will always value his love and advice, especially when I introduced him to my wife, Liz, the first time and he pulled me aside and told me "she is a keeper"
I will always remember all the great times we had from slow rounds of golf and the many...

George was a college mate of my dad's and I knew him most of my life. we golfed in NY and were able to rejoin that after I moved to California and his son Dan and family settled here . Only a few years ago as we sat on the patio after a round several men came by and commended George for playing and "walking" the course at his age. Our tee time was an annual holiday tradition . Sometimes "You don't know what you got til it's gone " Thanks George

The below message was written by their daughter,
Allison Negus

On the day my father died, I lost my mentor, a terrific dad, and my hero, and one of the most kind, gracious, loving and special people I have been blessed to have in my life, and my family, especially my mom and myself miss him everyday...

I take some comfort knowing he is not
Suffering any more, but he has left a huge void in our lives.

Ginny and family,
I have wonderful memories of my years working with George in the Binghamton City Schools. He was an extremely kind man who made a difference in so many lives.
My deepest sympathies.
