Not sure what to say?

George was my coach first. I respected him so much I took his metal shop class. He mentored and helped me for two years and then helped me get a job as a machinist apprentice after graduation. I stayed in touch for a few years and then lost touch. He came to my work one day and said he was working for Boeing. I have owned my own shop for the last 18 years and owe very much to "Coach Nelson"

George was my high school metal shop teacher. He mentored me and made working with metal fun. George is the reason I have been a Machinist for the last 33 years. George got me my first job in the Machinist trade, sweeping floors and running errands for Ron and Don Honycutt. He is going to be sorely missed, I've always wished I could have thanked him for his impact on my life, I will never forget him. Rest in peace my old friend!

George was my teacher, coach, mentor but most of all I call him my friend. He was always there for me when I needed him. Offered to do anything to help me when my Dad had a stroke in my senior year. I have had a Machine shop for 35 years and owe a lot to George. I am sorry for not seeing him inthe past years. Di and I kept talking about getting him to my shop. I know he's looking down now and hopefully proud of what he helped turn me into. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
