Not sure what to say?

Our sympathy goes to Mr. Newbern's family. Even though I only knew Mr. Newbern when I was a child because I grew up in Hope next door to his mother and father. I can remember how pleased Mrs. Newbern was when any of her children or granchildren came to see her and how proud she was of her sons.

Many wonderful memories come to mind of George from Hope High School days. George was our most studious, most brilliant and also selected as the one most likely to succeed.
I remember the good times we all had as we practiced for our Senior play.
My condolences to all the family.

We have many fond memories of George (Sonny)when he would visit Marianna.
We always enjoyed his piano playing. Your cousins, Marcelle & Ed

George was the brother I never had. My Best Friend with whom I had many good times.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Newbern was my supervisor at Southwestern Bell and was one of the greatest influences in my business career. He will be sorely missed.
